Circa 1996 – 2006

KidwellDesign.com launched in Columbia, Missouri around 1996. My goal was to help small-town business compete with the large conglomerates and energize the shop-local movement.  At the time, I too, was a small-business owner (Leo’s Old Clothes, Col.,MO/ PrettyWild, ABQ, NM). I also worked at Baker Film and Video (now Baker HD, Col.,MO), as a commercial film producer. KidwellDesign was my way to help other businesses through creativity and keep up with emerging technology and trends. I also worked with other creatives in the rising social media exposure.
